2:1-5 Binah on Kadmon's Passion NarrativesThe Passion!
That is the text
of no doubt
لا ريبcontaining guidance to the pious
فيه هدى للمتقين
those believing in the unseen
الذين يؤمنون بالغيب
and maintaining the rituals
and from that which the Father's Amir and I have provided them with are spending
ومما رزقناهم ينفقون
and those believing in that revealed unto thee O Minister
والذين يؤمنون بما انزل اليك
and that revealed from before thee
وما انزل من قبلك
and in the hereafter being certain
وبالاخرة هم يوقنون
such are upon guidance from their Master God the Father
اولئك على هدى من ربهم
and such as they are the successful
واولئك هم المفلحون
2:6-7 Binah on betrayers
Verily those who betray
ان الذين كفروا'tis equal to them
سواء عليهمto warn them
اانذرتهمor not to warn them
ام لم تنذرهمthey won't believe
لا يؤمنونthe very concept of a Divine Father has set a seal upon their hearts
ختم الله على قلوبهمand upon their ears
وعلى سمعهمand upon their eyes is a covering
وعلى ابصارهم غشاوةand to them is an awful doom
ولهم عذاب عظيم
2:8-15 Binah on HypocritesYes, from the people some say: "We believe in the Divine Father and in the age of the hereafter" -though they are not with believers-
ومن الناس من يقول امنا بالله وباليوم الاخر وما هم بمؤمنينto appease the Divine Father and those who believe, while not appeasing any but themselves though not noticing.
يخادعون الله والذين امنوا وما يخدعون الا انفسهم وما يشعرونIn their hearts is a disease, so the very concept of a Divine Father only increases their disease and to them is a terrible doom in that they have been lying.
في قلوبهم مرض فزادهم الله مرضا ولهم عذاب اليم بما كانوا يكذبونWhen 'tis said unto them: "Spread not corruption in the earth" they say: "We are only REFORMERS".
واذا قيل لهم لا تفسدوا في الارض قالوا انما نحن مصلحونBeware, they indeed they are the corrupters, though they do not realise it.
الا انهم هم المفسدون ولكن لا يشعرونWhen 'tis said unto them "Believe as the people believe" they say: "shall we believe as the fools believe?" But they indeed themselves are the fools though about it not aware.
واذا قيل لهم امنوا كما امن الناس قالوا انؤمن كما امن السفهاء? الا انهم هم السفهاء ولكن لا يعلمونWhen they stand with those who believe they say "AMEN" but when they go apart to their Devils they say, indeed we are with you, indeed only we were mocking.
واذا لقوا الذين امنوا قالوا امنا! واذا خلوا الى شياطينهم قالوا انا معكم انما نحن مستهزؤونThe very concept of a Divine Father makes a mockery of them leaving them to wander blindly on in their contumacy.
الله يستهزىء بهم ويمدهم في طغيانهم يعمهون
2:16-20 Binah on stupidityThese are they who purchase error at the price of guidance so their commerce doth not prosper neither are they guided.
اولئك الذين اشتروا الضلالة بالهدى فما ربحت تجارتهم وما كانوا مهتدينTheir likeness is as the likeness of the one whose kindled fire is such that it sheds its light around their shadow. The very concept of a Divine Father takes away their light and leaves them in darkness where they cannot see
مثلهم كمثل الذي استوقد نارا فلما اضاءت ما حوله ذهب الله بنورهم وتركهم في ظلمات لا يبصرونDeaf, dumb and blind and they return not
صم بكم عمي فهم لا يرجعون
Or as to a rainstorm from the sky, wherein is darkness thunder and lightning, they thrust their fingers in their ears from the thunder-claps fearing death. But the Divine Father encompasses in the Mistrustful
او كصيب من السماء فيه ظلمات ورعد وبرق يجعلون اصابعهم في اذانهم من الصواعق حذر الموت والله محيط بالكافرين
The lighting almost snatches their sight, whenever it it flashes for them. They walk therein, but when it darkens against them they stand still. If the Divine Father willed He could destroy their hearing and their sight Lo! The Divine Father is able to do all things.
يكاد البرق يخطف ابصارهم كلما اضاء لهم مشوا فيه واذا اظلم عليهم قاموا ولو شاء الله لذهب بسمعهم وابصارهم ان الله على كل شيء قدير
2:21-24 Binah to All PeopleO Ye All People! Serve your Master God The Father, who has designed y'all and those before y'all so that y'all may be prudent; who has appointed the Earth a resting-place for y'all and the Sky a canopy and causes water to pour down from the Sky thereby producing fruits as food for y'all -so do not set up rivals to Trinity since y'all know. Though if you-people are in doubt concerning that which the Amir and I reveal unto Our deacon then produce a chapter of the like thereof and call your witnesses beside God The Father if y'all are straight. But if y'all do it not -and you-people can never do it- then guard yourselves against the fire prepared for the mistrustful whose fuel is from men and stones.
2:25-39 Binah to the Minister & CongregationYea, give Good News O Minister to those who trust and do good works that Gardens underneath which rivers flow are theirs who as often as are regaled with food of the fruit thereof they say: "this is what was given us aforetime!"
Though it is given to them in resemblance, there for them are perfect matches. There for ever they abide.
BINAH ON SIMILITUDES
Lo! God The Father disdains not to coin the similitude even of a gnat! Those who trust know that it is the truth from their Master but those who mistrust say: “What doth God The Father wish by such a similitude? He misleads many thereby!” But He guides many thereby and He misleads thereby only the fasqyn -those who break the covenant of God The Father after ratifying it and who sever that which God The Father ordered to be joined and who make mischief in the earth. Those are they who are the Khesroon.
BINAH ON RESURRECTION
How can y'all (Minister & Congregation) lack trust in God The Father when you've been dead yet He gave y'all life? Next He will give y'all death then y'all life again and then unto Him y'all will be returned. "He is the one (who) designed for y'all everything that is in the earth assembled, then turned to the heaven and created/fashioned it as seven heavens and He is Knower of all things"
BINAH ON THE PRINCE OF THIS WORLD
Thus (O Minister), was thy Master's Amir unto the Angels: Lo! I am about to place a Dictator in the earth. The Angels puzzled: Wilt Thou place therein one who will do harm therein and will shed blood while we sing Thy advocation and sanctify Thee? The Amir was: Surely I know that which ye know not. And He taught Humanity all The Names then showed Humanity to the Angels. The Amir was: Inform Me by names of These if ye are loyal. The Angels said: Be Thou glorified! We have no knowledge saving that which Thou hast taught us Lo! Thou only Thou art the Knower the Wise. The Amir was: O Humanity! Inform them of Their names. And when Humanity had informed them of their names, the Amir was: Did I not tell y'all that I know the secret of the heavens and the earth? and I know that which ye disclose and which ye hide?
Thus (O Minister & Congregation) the Amir's and My presence in Adam said unto the Angels: Prostrate yourselves before Mankind! The Angels fell prostrate (Genesis 6) -all save Iabolis who demurred through pride and so was revealed to be of the faithless. Although the Amir and I had both said: O Mankind! Dwell thou with thy wife of the Galaxy's Orion-Cygnus Spur and eat ye freely thereof where ye will but come not nigh Yggdrasil lest ye become wrong-doers, by demurring the prosecutor did cause them to deflect from Our instruction and expelled them from the state in which they were. Thus the Amir and I said: Fall all you down one of you a foe unto the other! There shall be for y'all on earth a habitation and provision for a time.
BINAH ON THE FATHER'S LOGOS
Now Mankind has received the Father's Logos. Thus the Father has relented toward mankind. Behold, the Father is the relenting, the Most Merciful Spirit.
The Amir and Me had both said: Go down all of you assembled from hence but now (O Minister & Congregation, thanks to the Father's Logos) there cometh unto y'all, from Me (Binah), instruction and whoso followeth My instructions there shall no fear come upon them neither shall they grieve. However, those who disbelieve and deny Our revelations such are rightful owners of the Fire. They will abide therein.
2:87 Iesousوَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْكِتَابَ وَقَفَّيْنَا مِن بَعْدِهِ بِالرُّسُلِ وَآتَيْنَا عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ الْبَيِّنَاتِ وَأَيَّدْنَاهُ بِرُوحِ الْقُدُسِ أَفَكُلَّمَا جَاءَكُمْ رَسُولٌ بِمَا لَا تَهْوَىٰ أَنفُسُكُمُ اسْتَكْبَرْتُمْ فَفَرِيقًا كَذَّبْتُمْ وَفَرِيقًا تَقْتُلُونَ

2:116 No Adoptionismوَقَالُواْ اتَّخَذَ اللّهُ وَلَدًا سُبْحَانَهُ بَل لَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ كُلٌّ لَّهُ قَانِتُونَ
And the Adoptionists said, "The Father has adopted a Seed, gory be to Him!" Nay, for Him (is) whatever is in the heavens and the earth. All are devoutly obedient to Him.
This is the single most often reiterated complaint concerning Christology that the Quranic materials mention. Adoptionists are the kind of Christian that the materials are trying to undermine most often. The materials are absolutely clear that God has no need to adopt any of his own creations since they all belong to him anyway. If he wanted to adopt, he could of course but really there is no need. The suggestion exposes a significant level of ignorance concerning the relationship between the divine and its creation. Etihad from the materials' point of view is plainly redundant. The nature of the Messiah Iesous son of Mary is not in any part any walid-creation.
2:249-251 Saul, Goliath & DavidHanifist Narrations clarify in the original story with the phrase "like Gideon". If this was omitted in translation then suddenly a completely bogus mishmash of stories in the Islamic Quran finally makes sense as nothing but recounting an Edessan Folk tradition about Saul's battle against Goliath.
